Anuj has always been intrigued by the sheer potential biotechnology has to improve lives in a sustainable way. He studied biotechnology in India and later got his PhD in industrial applications from Germany. Created a successful venture in Agri Biologicals space before moving to top-tier strategy and management consulting, where he got extensive hands-on experience in analyzing consumers and market data and developing executable strategic solutions with clearly defined to-dos and accountabilities. Leveraged the opportunity to work with global teams and clients, learning alternative ways of working and experiencing the strength of diversity. Later he moved to Bayer AG at their HQ in Leverkusen-Germany and worked with different Bayer businesses exploring alternative business models, scouting next-gen technologies, and conducting in-depth due diligence on acquisition targets. He further leveraged his entrepreneurial skills at Novozymes A/S in Denmark where he established the Scouting & Venturing function and his team of entrepreneurs created multiple new businesses, re-set the minority investment framework, and established the SDG award winning open innovation platform.

Anuj is a firm believer in the power of purpose and at a-connect he helps clients on a variety of complex business challenges by becoming their trusted thought partner and supports them to stay ahead of the competition on innovation and impact. Most interesting for him are business development with focus on sustainability and food security.
