profile
In addition to independent advisory, Karin has run healthcare businesses on an interim basis and become an entrepreneur. She is passionate about delivering outstanding results while engaging the workforce and stakeholder groups, which makes any project stick and truly make a difference in the long-run.
Karin was educated at the Stockholm School of Economics and the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, where she majored in Finance, Econometrics and Economics. She taught Statistics at the Stockholm School of Economics before moving to London for Healthcare Investment Banking. Karin is the deputy chair of Versus Arthritis, one of the largest Medical R&D charities in the UK, and founded, grew and sold her digital start-up to an affiliate of The Guardian Media Group. A Swedish native and decent German speaker, Karin enjoys working in challenging projects with complex stakeholder environments.
The latter may be due to her and her husband having three teenage kids. She enjoys outdoors activities, exercise, travelling with friends/family and going to live gigs with obscure 80’s/90’s bands.
